The deadline for the $250 Share Your Passion Scholarship has come and gone.  Although we received an overwhelming response, we selected 4 finalists.  We will be announcing the winner soon.  We will announce the four finalists next week, starting Monday, on our blog and Facebook Page – so make sure to “Like” us on Facebook to find out whom the four finalists and the winner of our first annual Share Your Passion Scholarship are.

Here are the four prices that the four finalists will win:

1st Place – $250 Share Your Passion Scholarship

2nd Place – $50 Share Your Passion Scholarship & $20 gift card from Amazon

3rd Place – $15 gift card from Amazon

4th Place – $10 gift card from Amazon

While we will be selecting the winner of the $250 Share Your Passion Scholarship, we wanted to offer a second scholarship – the $100 Facebook Scholarship Contest – in which our Facebook followers would be able to help us pick the winner for that scholarship.

The individuals that were asked to participate in the Facebook contest were our four finalists and our two previous Scholarship Winners, Julia Schemmer from Norco High School, and Jennifer Aneke from Roosevelt High School.  Three of the six contestants have already posted their essays on Facebook, and the votes keep increasing by the minute.  We still need Alex Bernstein and Jessica Senior to submit their essays.

Help us pick the winner of the $100 Facebook Scholarship Contest by picking the best essay.  Show your support for these impressive scholars.
