What is your experience as a tutor or teacher?
I have privately tutored K-12 students in their homes and the public libraries since 2006. Thus, I have tutoring experience of 6 years. Moreover, I tutored the incoming freshmen of the University of California, Irvine, in pre-calculus in a formal classroom setting. In addition, I have been teaching CPR/AED and First Aid classes for over two years now.

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology, Cognitive Science.

Reading, surfing the net, helping others, talking to people, playing chess, spending time with family, learning about the health care system
What accomplishments have you achieved while working as a tutor?
One of my major accomplishments was when I helped one of my students in editing her personal statement for her UC application. She wrote almost 10 drafts before her personal statement was finalized and was to the point. The best moment was when she got into her dream university, which was University of California, Irvine.
What do you enjoy the most about tutoring?
The best thing about tutoring I feel is impacting students’ lives significantly in order to improve their grades. I feel very happy when students are able to put trust in me and can share their personal and academics problems with me. Moreover, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with other students to help them.
