  • What is your experience as a tutor or teacher?

Being a well-rounded educator, I have had the opportunity to be a teacher, teacher assistant, and tutor to a diverse group of middle and high school students, thus enhancing my teaching techniques and instructional methods to help students succeed. As a result, I can adapt my methods to accommodate multiple intelligences and learning styles, ensuring each student will comprehend and retain the information in the manner that suits him/her best. I have also become proficient in developing comprehensive lesson plans, in creating stimulating thematic units, and in providing individual support to help students become passionate about learning, to help them excel in their studies, and to help them achieve their goals and dreams.

  • Specialties – What subjects are you best at?

I can teach any subject from K-12 and I am proficient in pre-calculus, calculus, algebra I, algebra II, all undergraduate chemistry, biology, French, physics, etc…

  • What days and times are you available to tutor?

Mondays and Wednesdays – After 6: 30 P.M.

Tuesdays and Thursdays – 6 AM- 9 PM (Anytime).

Fridays – 6 AM- 6 PM (All day).

Saturdays – 6 AM- 9 PM (Anytime).

Tutor’s schedule subject to change.

  • Where did you attend school?  What degrees do you have?

I graduated from the University of Yaounde I , with a  Bachelor degree in science in Chemistry.

I graduated from the Higher Teacher’s Training College Yaounde I , with a Diploma of Teacher of Middle and High School.

  • What cities are you okay with tutoring in (i.e. how far are you willing to drive to tutor)?

I will be happy and available to work in these areas: Chino hills, Chino, Ontario, Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, Norco, Mira Loma, Pomona, Claremont, La Verne, Montclair, Fontana, Upland, and other surrounding cities within 17 miles or a little more.

  • What are your hobbies when you are not working?

I am Christian, I like reading the bible and listening to the word of God. I am vice- President in the intersection prayer group at Golgotha Sanctuary Ministry. I love praying for others. I also love cooking and spending time with my family and friends.

  • What accomplishments have you achieved while working as a tutor/teacher?

Working as a chemistry teacher, teacher assistant, and tutor, I helped students become passionate about learning. I encountered several students who were on the failing D level, and with consistent group tutoring and individualized attention, they were able to pass the class with B and A.

  • What do you enjoy the most about tutoring/teaching?

I love to make a positive difference in students learning and life. I enjoy to stimulate student’s potential, by ensuring each student will comprehend and retain the information in the manner that suits him/her best. I love sharing my knowledge with others by making complex units and courses easy for the students to understand. I love to see the “light go on” when they finally understand a skill or concept they have been struggling to understand. It’s fulfilling when you help students to leave school with good grades and know they have a brilliant future.
