- What is your experience as a tutor or teacher?
I have a year and a half of experience as a tutor working primarily with elementary and middle school students in the Inland Empire. I tutored in language arts and in elementary mathematics. I am now beginning to tutor in history as well.
- What subjects are you best at?
The subjects I have expertise in are in the social sciences. My past experience as a history and geography major has given me an abundance of knowledge in the histories and cultures of societies around the world. These subjects include American History, World History, Latin American history, social studies and human geography.
- What is your schedule like? What days and times are you available to tutor?
Available during the weekends in the afternoons and evenings.

- Where did you attend school? What degrees do you have?
I attended Riverside City College in Riverside where I received my associates degree in Humanities, Philosophy, and Arts. I then transferred to Cal Poly Pomona where I received a Bachelors of Science in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Science.
- What cities can you tutor in (i.e. how far are you willing to drive to tutor)?
As I live in Fontana, I can tutor in many cities in the Inland Empire that are within 30 miles. These include Fontana, Rialto, Riverside, Ontario, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, and Pomona.
- Are you open to tutoring students via Skype or another online platform?
Yes. I would be open to tutoring via Skype or via Google Video.
- What are your future career goals?
My future career goals include landing a position in the Geospatial industry as a GIS analyst or technician. I may also pursue a Masters in GIS in the future. However, I would also look forward to utilizing my knowledge of the social sciences in future tutoring programs.
- What are your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, hanging out with friends, listening to music, traveling, and reading.
- What accomplishments have you achieved while working as a tutor/teacher?
A former student told me that our sessions in math helped him improve in his weekly quizzes. Another student received an A in a Language Arts exam and said that our sessions helped her to achieve the high score.
- What do you enjoy the most about tutoring/teaching?
I always enjoy passing along information about subjects I am passionate about to others and then see them comprehend that information. With tutoring, I enjoy using the knowledge I have gained over the years to help others not only improve their grades but to possibly gain an interest in a subject.
